Hands-on Experience in the Planetarium
Students enrolled in AST 278 The Night Sky this semester are learning how to use telescopes and binoculars to view the night sky as well as basic usage of the planetarium. Here are some of them practicing how to use the planetarium to demonstrate the motions of the night sky. Later this semester they will be holding a public observing session with our telescopes as well as public planetarium demonstrations.
This month in Astronomical History
